Introducing Chase Hugh Frame & Cole’s 2nd birthday!

So…I’ve had this typed up for over 2 weeks now…and just now getting it up….so really, I need to update this thing again for Halloween....but...next time...I am taking one day at a time :)
Chase Hugh Frame, our 3rd baby, was born on October 5, 2010. He was born about 8 am, was 8 lbs 3 ounces and 21.5 inches long….a big baby! This baby was delivered via C section, as the good people of California do not believe in vbacs (Haley was an emergency c-section). I was pretty upset when I found this out (that I was going to be forced to have a c-section) but overall everything went well and I and the baby are recovering well and it was actually kind of nice being able to “schedule” our baby’s arrival so we could arrange for our moms to come out on specific dates since we have no family in this area.

Chase is a good baby so far. crossing my fingers. Sleeps well most times(so long as someone is holding him). He looks similar to my other children, but different in his own way as well.

Haley is growing fast as well. She will be 5 in a month and DOES NOT want to grow up (she says). This kid is so confident in her self and is in no way shy by any means.
She wants to do things when she gets older (like take horse riding lessons), but she does not want to have to grow up in order to do them. She tells me she never wants to grow up and move away…and she DEFINITELY DOES NOT want to be a mom…because she does not want her stomach to be cut open like mine J She is the funniest little girl and is as head strong as me (and Craig too). She is very smart and is reading on her own now…and I am crossing my fingers that school is not boring to her the next two years. She just LOVES her new baby brother. She will hold him any chance she can get…and doesn’t really want to share him with anyone else! She is ALL girl and refuses to wear things if she doesn’t think they are pretty enough. The more flowers, hearts, flair on her clothes, the better. She loves to have me do her hair like a “princess” and requests her hair be done like “a rose” whatever that means!!

Funny Sayings:
Haley was writing her Christmas list and on the list was “phone.” Craig asked her what phone she was talking about and she said, “You know, a phone, to talk to all my friends!” (She said this in a “duh!” tone)
Haley talking to her friend Jack (I wasn’t there to hear it, my friend relayed the conversation to me)-“There are only 2 things of real magic. Jesus & Santa Claus!”

Cole turned 2 yesterday!! Yay!! My baby is growing up so fast. He is jumping, running, climbing, and is ALL boy. He has the cutest voice and says the cutest words. His smile will just melt your heart! Cole is adjusting well to the new baby and even wants to hold him….by himself, with no help. Of course we do not let him, but he does try to swat our hands away…but being that he wants to hold him for all of seven seconds and then pushes him away, it will be a while before he will get to hold him by himself. Cole loves to go to the baby and point and giggle and say baby over and over.
Ummm....we had no candles....so we used matches...they work, right?!

A smile that will melt your heart....if only his face was clean...

Dang shadow....

My T.V. zombie child....just like his daddy ;)

  1. He is so adorable and looks perfect in every way. I hope things are going well with three- I am sure everyone is still adjusting. I know the feeling about having to schedule a c-section but I really liked knowing exactly the day and having so much energy after the birth. Enjoy him while he is still tiny.
