Craig--still working very hard!
Sue--keeping up with our two kids, working (from home during naptimes), and trying to keep up with the house! Whew!
Haley--last week in school. Lots of friends. Lots of disneyland. Lots of fun! Lots of attitude! This girl is going to be trouble when she gets older!--Funny memory--Haley and a friend were inside, with Haley doing a puzzle and the friend reading some books. Haley-"Move your books, I can't see my puzzle." Friend-"No. Reading is good for your brain." Haley-"So is doing puzzles." Friend-"No its not." Haley-"Mom! Puzzles are good for your brain right?" Me-"Yes, puzzles AND reading are both good for your brain." Friend-"No they aren't! My mom has NEVER told me puzzles are good for your brain!" LOL. This was near the end of the playdate and the girls had hit their end as they continued to argue.
Cole--Learning new words everyday. Kiss, Binky, Mine, Owwie are among some of his new words these past two weeks. He has conquered all the slides at the parks. This kid has no fear with things like this. He will climb to the top and just take off saying, "Weeeeee!" He is such a boy! He wants to ride scooters and ride tricycles any chance he gets...though he can't do either on his own! I give him 6 months until he has mastered these as well.
Update 1: We are moving this week to a different, cheaper home. California is way too expensive!!! But the other home still has a pool. Yay!
Update 2: We are expecting our 3rd baby due this Fall. Another baby boy! When asked if I wanted a boy or a girl I will respond with, "I would like an easy baby, please!" I will definitely have my hands full!!!

Memorial Day parade. We were supposed to wear red. Haley doesn't have a red shirt. So I used an old shirt that is two sizes too small and cut the sleeves off, and...Woolah!

We went to this birthday party of one of our friend's little boys. Crazy birthday! It was a dual birthday party. The party had a roller coaster, large carnival ride, inflatable jumping houses, a train (which was permanently affixed to the other birthday boy's yard), professional face painter, balloon guy, nacho machine, cotton candy machine, slush machine, and lots more. It was insane. This is Haley's face painting!

Whoohooo!!!!! Congrats on the baby #3. So exciting!!!! I have to say that I am definitely jealous of you having a pool in your back yard! Looks like you are all having so much fun!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on baby #3! You are ambitious. We are dragging our feet to having the third one- 3 sounds like so many. You're going to be outnumbered. :) But I am sure it will be fun and a wonderful addition to the family. Enjoy your California summer. I am super jealous of the personal swimming pool and the close proximity to the beach. How fun!

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! I am sorry I haven't responded to anyone. I haven't even checked this since I posted it. So, please forgive me! But thank you everyone! We are excited and nervous about baby #3! We haven't decided on any names yet...I think we have thought of like 5 or 6 names that we like. We are procrastinators :)
